Valentina Laverde
Realizadora de cine y televisión de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia con estudios en la Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès II. Creadora inquieta por las narrativas de maternidad, infancia y periferia. Fue productora ejecutiva del Festival de Cine y Audiovisuales Equinoxio en el año 2022, y es productora del Festival Sanandresano Encarrete Isleño desde el año 2021. Ha sido ganadora del taller de cortos del BIFF 2023, así como de las becas de realización de cortometraje de IDARTES 2024 y MINCULTURA 2024. Tiene amplia experiencia en asistencia de dirección de proyectos de corto y largometraje. Actualmente es directora audiovisual de la Dirección de Responsabilidad Penal Adolescente de Bogotá y está en proceso de Distribución de su primer cortometraje profesional: Lo entrañable, 2025.

A creator with a keen interest in narratives of motherhood, childhood, and the periphery. She was executive producer of the Equinoxio Film and Audiovisual Festival in 2022, and has been producer of the Sanandresano Encarrete Isleño Festival since 2021. She was the winner of the BIFF 2023 short film workshop, as well as the IDARTES 2024 and MINCULTURA 2024 short film production grants. She has extensive experience in assistant directing short and feature film projects. She is currently the audiovisual director of the Bogotá Juvenile Criminal Responsibility Directorate and is in the process of distributing her first professional short film: The endearing, 2025.
